RENEWABLE ENERGY OPTIONS

Climate change is a real threat to our future, the major cause of which is the use of fossil fuels for our homes and businesses.

Renewable energy, combined with energy efficiency offers a solution to countering effects of global warming. By installing any one of our renewable energy technologies, you will be making a real contribution to the well being of future generations.

Added to the recent steep rises in the price of oil and gas – renewable energy has never looked so appealing.

Green Grants

Under the DTI’s low carbon buildings programme grants totalling £10.5 million are available to householders and community organisations for microgeneration technology. A further £18 million are available to public, not for profit and private sector organisations for medium and large scale microgeneration projects.

These grants will cover up to 50% of the cost of installing renewable energy systems, such as solar panels. Find out more about grants here.
